GOAL TWO - EDUCATE COMMUNITIES
According to the United States Census, Tarrant County is comprised of over 30% of minority races and ethnicities. Often these communities are not educated about the voting process of the United States, and feel discouraged to get involved in the electoral process by registering, educating, and voting during an election cycle.
Through Voice of the Empowered, we aim to educate communities by providing translated resources and connecting key ethnic groups to local election offices to:
Promote group involvement in the electoral process
Allow these individuals to learn of the electoral issues in their native language (if applicable)
Expand voting registration drives into community centers to promote group involvement in the electoral process
